U.S. Probation Jiu-Jitsu Seminar hosted by the Western District of Virginia in Roanoke
September 2 and 3, 2026

Join the FLEOA 111 Project in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains for a 2-day Jiu-Jitsu for Law Enforcement Seminar. No experience is necessary.

2026 – Jiu-Jitsu for Law Enforcement Seminar
Charleston, South Carolina

FLEOA 111 Project instructors led a two-day seminar in the Holy City for 50 federal and state law enforcement officers from across the nation. The curriculum focused on jiu-jitsu techniques designed to enhance subject restraint and control, while also introducing elements applicable to competitive grappling.


2025 – Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association National Conference
Milwaukee, Wisconsin

In October, FLEOA 111 Project President Larry Cosme, Vice President Felecia Bowers, and Lead Instructor Brian Bowers attended the national conference to educate FLEOA executives, chapter presidents, agency leaders, and sponsors about our mission of promoting jiu-jitsu training throughout the law enforcement profession.


2025 – Jiu-Jitsu Seminar for Law Enforcement Instructors
Salt Lake City, Utah

The FLEOA 111 Project presented a two-day seminar in the District of Utah, for nearly 30 federal law enforcement physical tactics instructors from 16 states, promoting jiu-jitsu throughout their agencies.


2024 – Jiu-Jitsu Seminar for Law Enforcement Instructors
Waco, TX

Hosted by the Western District of Texas at the Waco Law Enforcement Training Center and led by FLEOA 111 Project Instructor Brian Bowers. Federal physical tactics instructors learned ground defense and control tactics, as well as teaching methodologies.


2024 – Jiu-Jitsu Seminar for Law Enforcement Instructors
Indianapolis, IN

Hosted by the Southern District of Indiana at the Franklin Jiu-Jitsu Club and led by FLEOA 111 Project Instructors Brian and Felecia Bowers. Federal physical tactics instructors across 36 states learned ground defense and control tactics, as well as teaching methodologies.


2023 – Control Techniques Seminar
Washington, D.C.

Hosted by the FLEOA 111 Project at the BETA Academy. Special thank you to our instructors, Rob Magao, Founder of The Officer Survival Series, and Jason Rebsch, of C4CPJJ and co-founder of Invictus Law Enforcement Collective.
